Male Sexual Health

Achieving and maintaining sexual health is extremely important, when it comes to our patients. In our practice, issues related to sex drive and sexual health, receive the same attention as anything else that goes wrong with our patient's bodies.

We routinely work with our male patients to provide the tools and education needed, to ensure an enjoyable sex life at any age. We’ll work together to pinpoint the hormonal, nutritional, and lifestyle factors that may be contributing to a particular sexual dysfunction.

Ask how we can help you to:

  • Boost your sexual libido
  • Understand more about your orgasm

Resolve issues related to:

  • Erectile dysfunction
  • Premature ejaculation
  • Low ejaculate volume
  • Low testosterone
  • Low libido (it’s more common than you think!)

Female Sexual Health

A core component of my practice is educating and empowering women to stay healthy and informed on issues regarding their sexuality. No subject is taboo or off limits in the safe space of our office. With our patients, we explore common female sexual concerns, help them gain a deeper understanding of the female anatomy and debunk myths surrounding female sexual needs and desires.

Female sexual health issues we address with our patients include:

* Low Desire / Boosting Libido

A recent study showed that nearly one-third of women aged 18 to 59 suffer, from a lost interest in sex. Rest assured, it’s not all in your head. There are several clinical reasons that may be contributing to a lack of libido. We work with our patients to explore the medical reasons that may be contributing to your lack of sexual desire.

* Painful Intercourse

Intercourse pain, known medically as Dyspareunia, should be addressed as soon as it becomes evident. There are several medical conditions that could be responsible for your discomfort, including Vulvodynia, a chronic pain condition that affects a woman’s outer genitals, or Vaginismus, an involuntary contraction, or reflex muscle tightening, of the pelvic floor muscles that offically occur when an attempt is made to insert an object (tampon, penis, speculum, etc.).

* Orgasm

About 10% of women have never had an orgasm - either with a partner or during masturbation. Both primary and secondary Female Orgasm Disorder, can be caused by a variety of factors:

  • Emotional trauma or sexual or physical abuse
  • Medications and surgery
  • Inadequate stimulation
  • Pelvic floor prolapse

We routinely help our patients learn to “get to know their orgasm,” and explore their possibilities for enhancing their sexual pleasure.

* Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT)

BHRT is the use of supplemental doses of hormones that are bioidentical, or have a chemical structure identical to the hormones that the human body naturally produces. We help our patients figure out if BHRT is right for them and their unique physiology.
